Regina Chow Trammel is an engaging professional development trainer and speaker.

She will pose important questions, facilitate, and support an inclusive dialogue for your next active-learning event!

Regina is a university educator for over 12 years and a practicing psychotherapist for over 17 years.

As a Chinese-American 2nd generation woman growing up in Los Angeles, I did not escape the micro and macro aggressions of racism later on in life, but I still count myself very, very lucky and wonderfully blessed due to the diverse and empowered neighborhood I grew up in. That is my story.

However, I have also grown over the years in understanding how RARE my experience is, and that is more than a shame.

I want to empower BIPOC leaders and workers in the development of their gifts, nurtured in the habits, cultures, and ways we look at our world as strengths and gifts to others in our workplaces. I also want to call us to purpose, rather than burnout.

I can provide professional development workshops and training on the following:

  • Mindfulness principles and guided meditation, as well as teaching on mindfulness principles that help repair the stresses BIPOC folks often carry

  • Inclusive dialogue on the the layered effect of being a BIPOC leader, with discussion about how to stay at peace while navigating complexity in the workplace

Other trainings offered on topics such as:

  • Mindfulness as a practiced skill to address and prevent burnout for educators, social workers, therapists and other healing professionals.

  • Open to healing: engaging in community for support

  • Somatic signs of stress and how to leverage the mind-body connection for repair toward thriving

  • Perfectionism as overcompensation to under-valuing your worth

  • Toxic positivity: how it only exacerbates anxiety in the workplace

  • Intergenerational stress and boundary-setting with family; knowing when to say yes, and knowing when to say no

  • How to lead with empathy and purpose amidst constant change

The above topics are common self-care challenges for many BIPOC community members, however, if you are looking for something else, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I train and speak from a fount of purpose and joyful experience.
